Natural and champagne
The two most specified anodic colours, matched across a batch because the alloy and the base finish are controlled together.

Anodizing grows a layer of oxide out of the aluminum itself, so the colour sits inside the metal rather than on top of it. That is why an anodized panel keeps its colour where a painted one chips, and why the film thickness is part of the specification.
Four routes cover most of what we quote. Each is a different mill or process route, so the size window and the lead time differ even where the grade looks similar.

Facades, ceilings, appliance panels
Light and dark bronze anodized sheet for architectural work where the colour has to sit against stone, timber or glass.
Cladding, window trims, interiors
Gold, red, blue, black and custom colours, with a deeper film where the panel is outdoors or handled.
Signage, retail fit-out, feature panels
Coil anodized for continuous lines, in widths and coil weights agreed against the line rather than the catalogue.
Roll forming, continuous laminationAnodized sheet is quoted by alloy, thickness, finish and film thickness. Colour matching is done against a physical sample, because a screen cannot show an anodic colour faithfully.

| Parameter | Range | What decides it |
|---|---|---|
| Thickness | 0.3 – 6.0 mm | Thin sheet for panels and trim, thicker for structural and fabricated parts. |
| Width | Standard 1000, 1220, 1250, 1500 mm; cut to width | Coil lines take a fixed width; cut sheets follow the panel size. |
| Length | Standard 2000, 2440, 2500, 3000 mm; cut to size | Cut-to-size blanks reduce offcut on a project with a repeating panel. |
| Alloys | 1060, 1100, 3003, 5005, 5052, 6061 | 5005 and 5052 anodize to the most consistent colour; 3003 is the workhorse. |
| Film thickness | 8 – 12 µm standard; 15 – 25 µm for exterior | Thicker film gives better colour fastness outdoors, at a higher cost. |
| Colours | Natural, champagne, light and dark bronze, gold, black, plus colours | Deep colours need a tighter alloy and a better base finish. |
Anodized sheet is judged on four things, and only one of them is visible in a photograph.
The oxide layer is harder than the aluminum beneath it, so a correctly anodized panel resists handling marks far better than bare sheet.
The alloy and the base finish decide whether two sheets match. That is why colour is approved on a sample from the production alloy, not from a colour card.
The sealed anodic layer limits further oxidation, which is what makes anodized sheet usable on facades and in wet interiors.
Film thickness and sealing decide whether a colour holds outdoors. Interior and exterior specifications are not interchangeable.
Anodized sheet orders are decided by alloy, film thickness and colour sample. We confirm all three before quoting, because each of them changes the price.
5005 and 5052 give the most consistent anodic colour; 3003 is the general-purpose choice.
8–12 µm for interior, 15–25 µm for exterior and handling-heavy work. The number goes on the order.
Matte, brushed or mirror before anodizing; the anodizing preserves what the mechanical finish left.
Screens do not show anodic colour. Approval is against a sample made on the production alloy.
Anodized sheet is used wherever a metal surface has to look the same in year five as it did on installation day.
Panels and cassettes where the colour and the flatness are the visible specification.
Covers and panels that need a hard, non-conductive, scratch-resistant surface.
Trim, splashbacks and feature panels in bronze, champagne or black, matched across a batch.
Substrates that hold a colour outdoors without a painted film that can chip at the edge.
